Avoid Black Friday! Make a gift and learn how to weld with Lisa Nigro creator of the 110' foot fire breathing Draka the Dragon and Fiery Rising Phoenix. During this 4-hour workshop you will receive instruction in the use of a MIG (wire-feed) welding machine and other metal fabrication tools, techniques, and equipment; i.e. grinders, chop saw, etc. You will have time to practice and can create a handmade gift for someone special. You are welcome to use our steel and found objects or bring your own steel or found objects that inspire you to create.

This class is limited to ensure you have personalized instruction and practice time, and can safely operate each piece of equipment. All safety equipment and materials are provided. Upon completion of this course, you are welcome to make another gift the following Tuesday or just practice your new-found skill.

The admission for this 4-hour workshop includes all materials and safety equipment.

Skip Black Friday and make a unique gift! Learn how to cut metal using a plasma cutter and oxy-acetylene torch.  Then cut your design into a small metal barrel to create a burn barrel, or, turned upside down, a side table to give as a gift or keep for yourself. Come back during our Tuesday night studio sessions and make another for yourself! The workshop will cover safety and include safety equipment.

This class is limited to ensure every student receives individual attention and can safely operate each piece of equipment. All safety equipment and materials are provided. The admission for this work shop includes a $20 materials fee.

Eliminate the fear factor and learn to weld!  This hands-on class for teens will teach the use of MIG (wire feed) welding machines as well as the use of basic metal fabrication tools - grinders, chop saws, files, etc. Each student will go home with their own handmade metal sculpture. Safety instruction and safety gear included.

This class is for teens 13-18.  Requires registration and waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Solid closed-toe shoes, jeans or workpants and long sleeved shirts are required dress.  A bandana or sock hat to wear under the helmet is optional.  All garments should be OK to potentially damage.

Learn to cut metal using an oxy-acetylene torch and plasma cutter.  You will learn the safety practices with these tools and their gasses and then will practice with the cutters and cut a design into metal to create a piece of yard or wall art using found metal pieces. Safety gear provided.
