Light up your bicycle - or yourself - for Flipside, Burning Man and other nighttime carousing! You'll learn the different uses and attachment techniques for rope lights, undercarriage, LED, EL wire and battery operated lighting. Bring your bicycle or other project for assistance in getting lit!

Welding is a very useful skill yet many find it intimidating. This class will eliminate the fear factor in a hands-on environment geared toward creating artistic pieces. You will learn basic metal fabrication techniques and use of equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, chop saws, and other metal-working tools – everything you need to learn to build your own sculpture. You can choose to make artwork for your yard or an African mask-style wall sculpture. Materials will be steel and/or found metal. Safety instruction and safety gear included.
